We specialize in three core areas: brand identity design (logos, brand strategy, visual systems), website design and development (custom sites, e-commerce, redesigns), and custom app development (mobile and web applications). We also offer UI/UX design, brand guidelines, and marketing collateral design. Whether you need a complete brand from scratch or a specific project like a website redesign, we provide strategic, results-driven design work.
Both! We love working with ambitious startups launching their first brand and established businesses ready for a rebrand or digital transformation. Our process adapts to your stage—whether you're pre-launch with big ideas or scaling up with proven traction. About 60% of our clients are startups and early-stage companies, while 40% are established businesses undergoing rebrands or launching new products.
We're based in Rochester, NY, and offer both in-person and remote collaboration. For Rochester-area clients, we're happy to meet face-to-face for discovery sessions, workshops, and presentations. For clients outside Rochester, we have a seamless remote process using video calls, collaborative tools, and regular check-ins. We've successfully worked with clients across the country without ever meeting in person.
We typically work on projects ranging from $2,500 (logo design) to $50,000+ (complete brand identity with custom website and app). Our sweet spot is comprehensive projects in the $8,000-$25,000 range where we can make a real strategic impact. We're selective about taking on smaller projects unless they're part of a longer-term relationship or have strong growth potential.
Our process has four phases: 1) Discovery (1-2 weeks): Research your market, competitors, and audience, conduct stakeholder interviews, and define strategic positioning. 2) Design (2-4 weeks): Create initial concepts, present options with rationale, and refine through collaborative revision rounds. 3) Development (2-6 weeks): Build, test, and optimize for mobile responsiveness, performance, and functionality. 4) Launch & Support (1 week+): Handle launch, provide training, deliver final files, and offer ongoing support. You'll have regular check-ins and access to our team throughout.
Timelines vary by scope: Logo design only (2-3 weeks), Complete brand identity (4-6 weeks), Website design 5-10 pages (6-8 weeks), E-commerce website (8-12 weeks), Custom app development (12-16 weeks), Brand + Website package (10-14 weeks). These timelines assume normal feedback loops. Rush projects may be possible with adjusted scheduling. The most important factor is your response time during the revision process.
We're collaborative but not high-maintenance. Expect to invest: Discovery phase (2-4 hours for interviews, questionnaires, strategy review), Design phase (1-2 hours per revision round, typically 2-3 rounds), Development phase (30 minutes weekly for progress check-ins), Launch phase (1-2 hours for final review and training). We handle the heavy lifting—you provide strategic input, feedback, and final approvals. Most clients appreciate that we don't require daily involvement while keeping them informed.
Our branding projects range from $2,500 to $20,000+ depending on scope: Logo design only (starting at $2,500), Brand identity with logo + basics ($5,000-$8,000), Complete brand system ($8,000-$15,000), Comprehensive rebrand ($15,000-$25,000+). A complete brand identity typically includes logo design, color palette, typography system, brand guidelines, business card design, and core marketing templates. Pricing depends on complexity, number of applications needed, and timeline requirements.
Website projects typically range from $5,000 to $25,000+: Small business website 5-7 pages ($5,000-$8,000), Marketing website 8-15 pages ($8,000-$15,000), E-commerce site ($10,000-$20,000), Custom web application ($15,000-$50,000+). Final cost depends on page count, custom functionality, content creation needs, platform choice (Squarespace, WordPress, custom), e-commerce features, integrations, and whether you need copywriting or photography.
Yes! For projects over $5,000, we typically structure payment as: 50% deposit to begin (due at contract signing), 25% at design approval milestone, 25% at project completion/launch. For larger projects ($15,000+), we can create custom payment schedules aligned with project phases. We accept bank transfers, checks, and credit cards (note: credit cards include a 3% processing fee).
Our project fees include: Discovery and strategy work, Design concepts and revisions (typically 2-3 rounds), Project management and communication, Presentation of concepts with strategic rationale, Final files in all necessary formats, Basic training on any systems/platforms, and 30 days of minor revisions post-launch. Not included: Stock photography (when needed), copywriting beyond basic edits, third-party services (domain, hosting, app store fees), ongoing maintenance or updates, and printing costs for physical materials.
For branding projects: Your business goals and target audience, competitor examples, brand inspiration (what you like/dislike), any existing assets or legacy materials, and key stakeholders available for input. For website projects: Sitemap or page list, content (copy, images) or timeline to create it, competitor sites you admire, functionality requirements, and login access to current site (if redesigning). For app projects: User flow or feature requirements, technical specifications (if any), target platforms (iOS, Android, web), and any existing wireframes or mockups. Don't worry if you don't have everything—we'll help you develop what's missing during discovery.
We're the right partner if: You value strategic thinking (not just "making things pretty"), You're ready to invest in professional design (not looking for the cheapest option), You can provide timely feedback (not disappear for weeks), You're open to creative recommendations (not micromanaging pixels), and You see design as an investment in business growth. We might not be the right fit if you need work done "tomorrow," want 20 rounds of revisions, expect design by committee with 10+ stakeholders, or need ongoing maintenance (we focus on projects, not retainers). The best way to know? Schedule a free consultation call and let's discuss your project.

We're platform-agnostic and recommend the best solution for your needs: Squarespace (great for small businesses, quick launches, easy self-management), Webflow (best for design-forward sites, animations, custom interactions), WordPress (ideal for content-heavy sites, blogs, specific plugin needs), Shopify (e-commerce sites with extensive product catalogs), and Custom code (when you need complete control, unique functionality, or have technical team). We'll recommend a platform during discovery based on your budget, technical comfort level, scalability needs, and long-term goals.
Absolutely! For clients who prefer not to manage updates, we offer maintenance retainers starting at $200/month.

We've worked across industries including technology, healthcare, professional services, food & beverage, retail, e-commerce, education, and nonprofits.
